2 Factor Authentication (2FA)

To make admin accounts safer, we have added Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Bagisto.

This feature gives an extra level of security by asking admins to confirm their identity with a second step when they log in.

Steps for 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)

Step-1 First, you need to log in to the Bagisto admin panel using your credentials (username and password). After logging in, you will be redirected to the dashboard.

On the dashboard, you will find your account section in the top-right corner. From there, you can access your account details or log out of the admin panel. Click on it and select My Account to proceed.

Step-2 Here, your account details will be displayed, and you will find a toggle option to enable Two-Factor Authentication.

Step-3 As soon as you enable it, a QR code will appear on your screen to set up Two-Factor Authentication.

Step-4 Now, you need to install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile phone. If you are an Android user, download it from the Play Store, and if you are an iPhone user, download it from the App Store.

Once the app is installed, open it and complete the registration. You will find a “+” icon at the bottom right side of the app—tap on it and select the option to scan a QR code.

After scanning the QR code, a verification code will be generated in the app. Enter this code in the Verification Code field on your screen, and then click on Verify and Enable button

Once done, your Two-Factor Authentication will be successfully enabled.
