General

The General screen holds two store-wide basics: the unit product weights are entered in, and whether storefront pages show breadcrumbs.

Go to Configure >> General >> General.

Set the weight unit

1. In Unit Options, choose the Weight Unit: lbs or kgs.
2. Click Save Configuration.

The weight unit is set per channel, and the default is kgs. Choose it before you add products: changing it later only changes the unit, not the weights you already entered.

Show or hide breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs are the trail of links, such as Home > Cart, at the top of storefront pages. They appear on the product page, the cart, the checkout, the compare page and the customer account pages.

1. In Breadcrumbs, switch Shop Breadcrumbs on or off. It is on by default.
2. Click Save Configuration.
